About
the Speaker
Dr. Iryna Simkova is a Doctor of Education and
Professor at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine, where she
serves as Head of the Department of English Language for Humanities.
Her
research focuses on neurodiversity, Universal Design for Learning, digital
pedagogy, AI in education, inclusive teaching, and virtual exchange. She is
also Deputy Chair of the Ukrainian Association of Researchers of Educational
Virtual Exchanges and has extensive experience in international educational
projects and research collaborations.
Dr.
Simkova has authored numerous publications on innovative and inclusive
approaches to language education and actively contributes to the development of
internationalisation and English language education in Ukrainian higher
education.
